Silent Client Installation

Is there any way of automating the client install of the Oracle run time tools using the Oracle installer.

Everytime a patch gets released or a new PC requires the run-time components this must be done manually.

Cannot you not create a special .prd file that only lists the exact products and have the installer do a forced select all of the products and install them. This would work for original setup and patches too.

Also, what can you do to add your own files to install, IE the new version of d2kwutil is not included in any patch and must be installed manually. Could that be added somehow. Received on Fri Jun 09 2000 - 00:00:00 CEST
