Need Help With Oracle report 2.5

I new to the oracle world does any body know if I want to generate a report
using colums from four different tables and they needs to appear on the report within
a repeating frame. In addition this report should be based on the time frame that
user specify on the parameter form. Any idea on how do I do this ? easily? I think
I have to do a join on this tables and then get the field out based on time? is this
the easiest way? or there is a better way?
