Hi Arie,

I had the same problems like you have on a W95-machine. There are 2 different solutions:

  1. Make sure that your Windows(NT) country&language properties are English/American. Bill Gates only speaks American-English and so does your Oracle installer. You better first install Designer and then Developer. The installer version on the Designer-CD is a newer one. (You need version 3.3.x.x.x). For Developer, use the installer version you installed with de designer-cd (start the installer yourself and don't use the autorun)
  2. If that doesn't work you can: Change your registry-key (local machine) ORACLE into something else. Then start the oracle-installer. Then change you registry-key back into Oracle. Start the installation.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.
