web reports Dr Watson error

Here's what I have:
NT4 webserver (service pack 5 40 bit) OAS 4.081, reports server 6
(dev patch 5a)
I just got the report server working on an HP 9000 with 1 gig of RAM
I have the form and report servers running as a a service.
I can run a report.. maybe 2 and I get a Dr Watson error at wrks.exe
which means my cartridge is crashing
and my reports give me an "application error..try again later"
