Integrating oracle reports with database

I have just set up oracle reports and would like to tie it in with the oracle8i database I have running. I have a report built and I was wondering how in my PL\SQL code I would invoke the oracle report to get called. Also, how do I get it to accept the parameters I want to pass. Peter
