Dev, be fair.
You build a product. Unless you have a few dozen people using it, no one
will buy it.
You put a few a million into a product and you give it away to get word of
mouth and feedback from the users.
Big companies call it beta programs. Little companies have to give it away.
Giving it away is the only way to get any market share.
