Don't bother if you're installing OAS 4.0.8 and 8i (8.1.5) on the same computer. (as Oracle puts it: 7.3.4 and 8.1.5 are certified for use with OAS 4.0.8.1, but they must not be installed on the same NT machine as OAS.) If found this info in the OAS Release notes (in the part about "Database ORACLE_HOME Compatibility"); I've got the HTML page; but it's quite big (133k), so I won't post it here. I could e-mail it if you would like to have a look at it.
