File paths in Pro*C Interpreted as 'escape' sequences when LINES=YES

When I specify the Pro*C (v2.3) option LINES=YES so my IDE can jump to the appropriate lines in the .PC file, the code containing file-paths (i.e., INCLUDEs) are interpreted as escape sequences because of the back-slashes "\". I can double them all up, but it seems like a poor workaround. The code still compiles (with warnings); however, it would be nice to get rid of them.

Would anybody have a solution?
