ORA-03121 Error

[Quoted] We have an Oracle application developed a vendor. When installing the application to the individual workstation, we ran into ORA-03121 on some of [Quoted] the PCs. Since I don't know Oracle well and there is no support from the IT [Quoted] group, I wonder whether I can get help from the newsgroup.

We are running Windows 95 on the client workstation and Windows NT 4.0 on Oracle server. The Oracle database is 7.3.4 (I think) and the SQL*Net Client [Quoted] is 7.3.4.0.0. The ODBC drive is 32 bit version.

Most of the PCs have ORA-03121 when the application is used are considered "old" machines. I am not really a system support person so I don't really know how to trouble shoot this type of problems. I have looked at the AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, CONFIG.DOS, WIN.INI and SYSTEM.INI between those PCs with problems and without problems. I see no major differences. When I made them to be consistent, it did not solve the problem.

If it adds any value, the applications are GCDM 2.3 and Monitor 5.3 developed by the DLB Systems in NJ.
