webdb and connection reset by peer

i have a problem using the query button in webdb. if i use the ie 4.07... i get the first time an error message connection reset by peer, if i wait five minutes and click the button again i get the query but for the next query i have to wait an other five minutes.
A little bit different is the problem if i use the communicator 4.7. Smaller tables are always opened bigger ones never.
Trying the same thing on the server the problem is generally the same. The only difference is that it appears only if i choose a higher number of rows to select.
