Exporting an "application system" is done from the RON (Repository Object Navigator) (bootom left icon in the designer/2000 start screen). Choose Application/Archive and follow the instructions...

Importing again is done with Application Restore.

Freezing and Unfreezing is in the same Applications menu in the RON!
