to set password for internal

I have oracle8i installed on unix.
After login in oracle account
i invoke svrmgrl
and then i do connect internal.
but it asks for no password by default.
Is there any way to set a password while connecting as internal for the security feature.
can anyone suggest me a good site for security on oracle thanx in advance
