Oracle Forms5.0 And setting Roles

[Quoted] We are converting our application from Oracle*Forms4.5 to Oracle*Forms5.0. Our application requires setting the roles from the Forms. In 4.5 we were using DBMS_SESSION package. Apperently not being supported by Forms5.0. Any alternatives are welcome.
