WebDB Installation Linux/RH6

Hi,
I want to install WebDB on Linux/ReadHat.
Oracle has been already installed.
When I connected as a root
I can acess to the directory /home/oracle
in wich i find webdb2_0_0528_tar.gz.
Also when i'm connected as dba or a simple user
and tape cd $ORACLE_HOME
I can access to the /oracle directory
which is differente from the first.
pwd command show in this :
u01/app/../oracle.
What is the difference between these two directories? at at any of them the webdb must be installed.
Please help for the procedure of installation.
