Broken DB Browser on OAS 4.0.7?

Hi,

Despite over a day's effort I am unable to get the DB_Browser/DB_Utilities cartridge to work on OAS 4.0.7 connected to an 8i instance running on Solaris 2.7. Below is an excerpt from
wrb.log upon receiving the URL request:

Examining the cartridge using owsctl we see:

% owsctl status -c DB_Utilities

According to oerr this error 05102 means something blewup on the oracle db:

05102, 00000, "Initialization failed due to error %(1)d" // *Cause: Oracle database error

Yet, I've had the DB browser working fine only on Monday. I've made some mods to the
db wrt the redo logs and the archive logs. AFAIK, the db is operating properly. I am using wosql
as well to query the db but like the views that the DB browser offers.

Any thoughts on what else to check?
