Running Personal Oracle8 on a Mac-platform ?

Hello all !
Does anyone know if Oracle 8 (Personal Oracle) will run on a MAC platform ? I need the Oracle DB to perform as a back-end DB and connect to this via an Filemaker Pro 4.1 application, serving as the front end, and user interface.
Please help me out here !
