I am trying to create a form that will allow me to update, insert, query my table via webdb. I can create a form that will update and insert without a problem, but when I try to genrate a "query by example(QBE) form" and run the form. I get a full report, displaying total contents of the table. Basically I would like to be able to query on a table using bind variables, but when I genrate the QBE form and run the QBE form. It automatically spits out the report without asking me what parameters I want to use to genrate the report. 1) How/where do I tell form I want a bind variable? 2) one of the columns are long dataype and I have context installed and running. How do I enable query on this column using webdb/context? 3) lastly, anybody know any good books on oracle webdb they would recommend? Thanks in advance.
