OLE and Excel 97 with FORMS 5.0

Hi,
I use OLE to populate an Excel97 worksheet with the result of a SELECT statement. When it finishes, Excel is open and I see the results in the worksheet. So far so good. My problem is that when I try to close Excel, I always get an "Illegal operation and will be shut down" message. Does this sound familiar to anyone ?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
