I'm in the process of recompiling some OCI code for ORACLE 8.0.4 under Solaris. The linker seems to be getting a bunch of undefined symbols. I've used the 'nm' tool to try to locate which *.a defines the symbol. It seems like the symbol is not defined anyway.

For example, kpuach is reference in libcommon.a but it's nowhere under $ORACLE_HOME/lib/*.a
libcommon.a
[44] | 0| 0|NOTY |GLOB |0 |UNDEF |kpuach
Any suggestions?
