I have been using the Forms 5.0 API for enhancing our forms application with a C program.

I have been using the Forms 5.0 API for enhancing our forms application with a C program.
Is there a similar API for Reports 3.0?
There must be one (Designer uses it?)
Is it documented?
May it be documented in the next Developer release (6.0)?
