Forms 4.5: how to find if a canvas is fully visible?

A form would have to perform a certain function depending on what the user sees there: which stacked canvas is the topmost one / fully visible, regardless of where the cursor is, what is the current item or block etc.

Because there can be several canvases partly obscuring each other, GET_VIEW_PROPERTY(<view_name>, VISIBLE) is true for every one of them that has even a corner of it peeking somewhere. Anybody know how to find if a canvas is _fully_ visible?
