OCIDescribeAny() on result-set?

Is it possible to describe a result-set [from a call to OCIStmtExecute() or OCIStmtFetch()] with OCIDescribeAny()? All the doc's on OCIDescribeAny() that I have read only explain how to describe existing schema objects, such as tables.
