Patrice, stop trying to use Personal Oracle
8.0.4 with Developer 6!
I've been trying everithing,
it won't work! Finally it tried it using MS Access with ODBC, and oh
wonder it worked. Reason is that some files of 8.0.5 are needed in
developer6, they override the 8.0.4 files and your personal 8.0.4 does not work
anymore. Do not try multiple oracle homes, it does not work for
developer6!
Note: Developer 6 is Beta, the problem will be solved in the
production version, you'll have to wait or to use a server database on a
different machine. Laisse-moi savoir si cela repond à ta
question.

where I can learn about it, I tried all the oracle docs and on-line help but there is nothing there.For some reason i need to have another oracle home on my system to install developer 6.0
