We have had the same message ('JAVA caused an invalid page fault'). It started after installation of MS Sockets2 (version downloaded from MS Website). When we uninstalled MS Sockets2 (you can do that if you made backup files during installation - it is install option), everything went back to normal, and message (Java...) didn't appear again.
