Generating Snapshots in Designer 2000

I am trying to use Designer 2000 to create a pair of schemas on 2 seperate instances, with a snapshot of a table on instance a in instance b.

I am trying to use Designer 2000 to create a pair of schemas on 2 seperate instances, with a snapshot of a table on instance a in instance b.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to get the ddl generator to append the database link onto the name of the table referenced in the snapshot. I'm forced to edit the DDL generated by hand. Is this possible?
