For the Net8 problem you have, try modifying the resoloution of your
graphics card!!! It is a common bug that when the card's mode is in 16
colors or above 32k colors the Net8 easy config won't work (although you can
manualy modify the tnsname.ora file). The card should be set to 256 or 32k
colors.
