Hi all,

I'm trying to convince a (potential) employer that they face monstrous problems with their critical 'legacy' systems running in RPT ( Sql*Report).

The Oracle 'white paper' on Y2K states simply that RPT is *non-compliant* . Oracle World-Wide Support state that there are no workarounds for RPT, unlike Forms 3 where a trigger step can be added to all date fields to force an 'RR' conversion back into the field.

Has anybody among you found a way of keeping RPT going? If it can be made to work through some cunning plan or other it could save at least one significant employer in these parts from (probably) going down the tubes.

Eternally grateful for any answers , either yea or nay
