Business Systems Analyst

For our New York City client a rapidly growing financial institution: Reporting to the CIO, this position is responsible for the research and preparation of functional requirements for system modifications, system design work, workflow analyses, testing system modifications, training users in new applications, and providing user support. This position will also help to maintain and enhance existing applications, to prepare new and existing applications for testing, and to debug these applications, Provides user support for all applications and serves as liaison for user groups.
This hands-on position requires excellent communication and superior project management skills. A bachelors degree in Information Sciences, heavy experience with database management systems (Oracle ) Is required. Experience with Front-End development tools like PowerBuilder, Visual Cafe and other Java tools is also helpful, Experience in developing and deploying lntranet applications (with database capabilities) is a plus, Previous experience with financial performance data and publishing applications is preferred.
