Hi Ohio Valley Laboratory,

don�t use a local variable from type CHAR. Use VARCHAR2 (5).

The datatypes are the same in pl/sql 1.0, but when you program such source in forms 5.0 you have problems. The new Forms has pl/sql 2.3 and there is CHAR a fix datatyp and VARCHAR2 the normal dynamical.

Maybe it helps using another type.
