Hi all,

I have a query about the capability of Designer 2.1 with Designer 1.3.2 in terms of the wsgl package procedures.

We have some developed some web application using Designer 1.3.2 and modified the generated code to meet our requirements. These generated packages are installed in the same user as the wsgl packages.

If we want to generate new modules from Designer 2.1 for the same application we will have to create new wsgl packages for the same user.

I understand from ORACLE that the Designer 1.3.2 generated modules may now not run due to the change in the wsgl packages.

Can anyone confirm this and how they have got around this problem?

We dont want to regenerate the modules under 2.1 and then reapply the changes as this would be rather time consuming. Also we dont want to do this every time ORACLE changes its wsgl package and releases a new version of Designer 2000! Received on Thu Aug 06 1998 - 08:42:45 CEST
