What you need is RAM and if you bought
a lot of RAM just buy the same amount again.
We have a WinNT 4.0 server with ORACLE 8.04:
PII 233 MHz
192 MB RAM (we will upgrade to 512 MB...)
Symbios Logic SCSI UW
2 Quantum Atlas II (4 GB)
2 IBM DGVS (8 GB)
10 / 100 MBit DEC 21140 Ethernet-Card
The 40 clients are P100, P133, P166MMX and
PII 233 PCs under NT 4. All of them with 64 MB
or more.
There are no performance problems.
