True. However, since this is crossposted to the MS-Access and Oracle groups, how well do Access and Oracle client-side tools work with the various Linux RDBMS'? I saw one Linux server database called Solid <http://www.solidtech.com>. How's that? Is there a port of Oracle 7 or 8 to Linux?
