The problem with most of the suggestions in this thread is that they ignore keys, comments, ect., not to mention those pesky grants! Take a look at BMC's Change Manager (or it's little brother, DB-Alter). Scripts everything for you and puts everything back in place. Nice tool and the best support I've ever found (but a little expensive).
