Hi,

We are able to run our app. on a 486 with only 16 Mb. of RAM, though we only use Forms and Reports on it by now. It's slow but works. Anyway, the more memory the better (have you ever heard this with Windows applications? :) I suggest 32 Mb, the "typicall multimedia-multieverything machine".

We also had a lot of problems depending on the SQL*Net protocol we used, I suggest you strongly not to use Named Pipes, because it sucks, it's slow and eats up resources in a very strong way, so you never get them back again. Choose TCP/IP if you can, it's fast and solved that awful resources trouble.

Hope this help you someway, greets
