Info:

in initSID.ora:

UTL_FILE_DIR = /usr/local/chat/conf

OR

UTL_FILE_DIR = /u03/chat/conf

OR

UTL_FILE_DIR = * It still fails with invalid_path, regardless of how UTL_FILE_DIR is defined. I've tried it uppercase and lowercase. What the heck am I doing wrong?? I've restarted the database each time I've changed it, plus I've rebooted a few times...
