Oracle 7.1 and 7.2 may use the ora.init parameters PARALLEL_DEFAULT_SCANSIZE and PARALLEL_DEFAULT_MAX_SCANS to determin the degree of parallelism of a query. How is oracle 7.3 different in this respect. (such as when a the tables in a query do not have a degree of parallelism difined and a PARALLEL hint is used in a query) Received on Tue Sep 09 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
