I am trying to write a program (using ProC) that will create a postscript output
file from
information stored in an Oracle database (Oracle 7.1 and Digital Equipment
Corporation Alpha running VMS 6.1). The postscript file may contain different
fonts, font sizes, styles, and graphics.
What is the easy way to do this? I've bought a couple of postscript manuals and
am reading
those, but I wonder if there is some product that will make my task easier. (I
am especially
worried about word wrap, knowing when the page is full and it's time to go to a
new page,
etc...) We would like to output the postscript files from our Digital Alpha
machine because of the large volume of data.
Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
