Using file pointers is a question of using a default data store called OSFILE. Prior to doing that, however, you will need to specify the PATH value where you keep your documents.

The OCO Admin guide contains information about using file pointers instead of storing the text directly. You can reference pages 3-12, 3-14, 5-7 and 9-4 for explanations and examples.
