Help How to maitain the user selection in HTML

Hi
I would like to know, how do I maintain the user's selection (Type radio,selection list). When I accept the data from the calling procedure, I couldn't impliment the option of SELECTED or CHECKED in the called procedure. Could any body help me to solve this problem?
