Forms 4.5 and OLE Server DLL's

I am using the OLE2 builtin in Forms 4.5 to access an OLE server written in Visual Basic 5.
If the OLE server is implemented as an .EXE file, everything is OK, but if it is implemented as an in-process .DLL I get FRM-305500 messages.
Does anyone know for certan if this is a bug or a restriction of the OLE2 builtin that it can only access .EXE server files? Received on Sat May 24 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
