Oracle Call Interface Template Library(OTL): Any comments?

TO whom this may interest,

  I recently came across this set of c++ classes for connection to Oracle db. It looks too good to be true. Has anyone tried to use it? How good is it? Do I need tools other than a Oracle DB and a C++ compiler?
