Hello to everybody,

[Quoted]         does anyone know how to do something as simple as starting a shell script from a PL/SQL
procedure? I don't even need to pass any argument. I've heard that DBMS_PIPE acomplish this aim, but I understand that, to use it, you need a Pro*(C,...) application running all the time and waiting for a message of your PL procedures. Is there anything simpler?

        Thanks in advance.

I'll appreciate an email to dpinol_at_cesca.es
