Hello all!

Does anybody out there have a tutorial for Oracle Report 1.0 ?? Is there documentation in repository somewhere that I can download??

Here's a recap (repeat) of the situation:

My company bid on and won a contract to provide computer support to a client. Part of this computer support included maintenance and administration of an Oracle database. Unfortunately, my company had no personnel trained or experienced in Oracle (or databases for that matter). So there I was, minding my own business, when the program manager swung around and pointed his finger and said, "You! I've seen you play around with computers. You're the new DBA for this contract."

OK, so now I'm the new DBA for this Oracle database that tracks personnel qualifications for our client. The people who sold this application lead me to believe the database is actually an adaptation of somebody else' application. I'm still learning what half the tables are supposed to do. In fact, a significant fraction of these tables are entirely unused. It's a steep learning curve, but I'm dealing with it and doing passably well.

But now there's a new twist: the client wants a new report designed. I'm (by grace of God and program manager fiat) the "Oracle guy". I went out and got training for Oracle ReportWriter ... version 3.0. The reports are all built with Oracle Report writer v1.0.  The people who originally sold this piece of work to the client tell me that ReportWriter 1.0 is obsolete and no longer supported by anybody. As far as I can tell, there is no earthly resemblance between the two products.

Folks, I need help here. If someone has a set of Oracle Reports 1.0 documentation, or knows where the right information is squirreled away on the 'Net, I'd be greatly appreciable if the milk of human kindness would trickle long enough to drop a clue on me.

Sorry for the whine.

Thanks for any help.
