You need a lot of rollback segment space, and it does take a long time.
Despite Oracle's "unsupport" of 1.2 under WIN95, the only serious problem
involved using the "autocompile" or "autorun" features in the generators. (If
you have these set so that it automatically compiles/runs, you will crash
Windows. Memory is starting to fade, but I believe the problem was only with
"autorun".
