Of course the customer will pay. SQL Server is not freeware. The real
question is whether switching to it will save a substantial amount of
money to the customer. I don't think that anybody with a grain of salt is
expecting a handout. The clients may expect significant savings. If MS
fulfills those expectations, then I know of a company in Redwood Shores,
