Well, if I had to estimate, I'd say that approximately 25% of the Oracle sites I have visited is using OL. I am mostly an Oracle specialist and have no idea what would be the total market share of the OL, but in the world of Oracle RDBMS, it's definitely a significant share. OL is a good Unix and I definitely prefer OL 5.x to RH 5.x because of the newer kernel which supports things like iotop.
