My Yahoo mailbox gets one ad for some kind of "magic bra" almost daily, despite me being a man. There is also a new 419 story line, based on the fate of the recently exterminated colonel Gaddafi whose close adviser needs to transfer $50M urgently and desperately needs my help. I have also won Microsoft/Google/Brittish/Euro lottery numerous times, despite having never played any of those. There are also ample opportunities to buy Cialis, Levitra or Viagra or their knockoffs. Yahoo duly puts stuff like that into the spam folder.

I do the same with job/sale posters on CDOS. Most of the NNTP clients have filter/kill file option(s). Kyle Haley's "pan" most certainly does have that. Whenever someone posts a job ad on this group, the poster is mercilessly put into my filter. Kyle Haley is one of my heroes. At one time, I was considering responding to 419 ads with fake addresses, taken from the job posters on this group, but have given up the idea. That might have been a beginning of a beautiful friendship, to paraphrase the late Claude Rains, but I was just too lazy. It's not worth the effort.
