Me too. Chuck Norris uses Usenet. So do I. That means that Usenet will never die. There have been many prophets of doom, I remember a guy from IBM, in a blue suit with yellow tie, in the late 80's who came to the company where I was working at the time and explained to my boss that in two years paper will be obsolete and that everything will get done through the great invention called "interoffice mail". That is known as "email" today. Do I need to tell you that paper industry is alive and well and that there is a laser printer in almost every office on the planet?
Few years after that, there was a bunch of guys who announced that all computers will catch fire and burn on 1/1/2000. That was so called "millennium bug". I spent that New Years Eve in the office, in Trumbull, CT. Of course, nothing happened. Then Google announced that docs.google.com will kill MS Office because everybody will now start using it, instead of MS Office. MS will go down in a week or so. Didn't happen, I'm still using the good old MS Word 2007. Maybe Usenet will die on 12/21/2012?
