Learn how to properly backup and restore a database using RMAN.
Learn how and when to supplement these RMAN backups with exports using
expdp and impdp.
Learn how to properly take advantage of Oracle's flashback query
feature.
Learn how to use Oracle's Grid Tuning Advisor to tune and take a
course or read some books to determine when Oracle's Grid Tuning
Advisor really doesn't make good recommendations so you can tune
poorly written SQL.
Learn how to properly size and tune Oracle's SGA and PGA.
Everything else is just cool SQL tricks! :) Received on Thu Jul 14 2011 - 13:47:44 CDT
