Thanks! I am using mostly RH EL 4.7 which has no "sosreport". I didn't run the utility on CentOS 5.3 boxes that the company is using to test whether we should upgrade until now. So far, no compelling reasons to do that. I am waiting for a release which will finally introduce the kernel 2.6.20+ and enable tools like "iotop" and "atop" to finally answer the question of who's doing the most I/O on the system.
